  „Is the heart rate monitor waterproof?”
  The PC9 is waterproof up to a depth of three metres. Please note that the buttons should not be pressed when under water as the water can penetrate into the housing of the watch. You should avoid using sea water so as not to cause problems with the functioning of the watch.
